He noticed that there was moisture in the air, she probably took a shower.
As Nick walked to the bathroom, he noticed she had made coffee for herself, there was a used cup in the sink.
In the bathroom he indeed confirmed that the shower had recently been used. On the mirror, she had written something in lip balm.
"Thanks for the wonderful night Nick. Sorry, I had to leave for an appointment.

Lifting his eyebrow at the sight of his bathroom mirror, he sighed and stepped into the shower himself after removing his jogging pants. He turned open the crane and closed his eyes when he felt the warm water raining down on his hair. He didn't take too long, and soon started to dry off again while he was walking back to his room to grab his phone. He noted the number inside his phone and saved the contact under 'Vera', after which he quickly cleaned the mirror.
He put on dark trousers and a dark blue blouse before he walked to the front door. He took his jacket and put it on. He looked around, thinking about what he could forget but noticed he didn't need much. Everything was already there at the gallery. He smiled softly whilst he opened the door and closed it behind him again.
